Fundamental Rights: Freedoms & Equality
- Article 15: Freedom of movement throughout Pakistan.
- Article 16: Freedom of assembly (to assemble peacefully and without arms).
- Article 17: Freedom of association, including forming political parties.
- Article 18: Freedom of trade, business, or profession — covers both.
- Article 19: Freedom of speech and expression, and freedom of the press.
- Article 19-A: Guarantees the right to information in matters of public importance, subject to law.
- Article 20: Freedom to profess religion and manage religious institutions.
- Article 21: Safeguards against taxation for the purpose of any particular religion.
- Article 23–24: Guarantee the right to acquire, hold, and dispose of property, subject to law and public interest.
- Article 25: Declares that all citizens are equal before law and are entitled to equal protection of law, with special provision for protection of women and children.
