Judicature: Judicial Accountability & Supreme Judicial Council
- Article 204: Deals with contempt of court, applicable to both the Supreme Court and High Courts, empowering them to punish for contempt.
- Resignation of judges: A judge of the High Court or Supreme Court may resign by writing under his hand addressed to the President.
- Misconduct: If a judge is alleged to be incapable of performing duties or guilty of misconduct, the matter is referred to the Supreme Judicial Council.
- Article 209: Deals with the formation of the Supreme Judicial Council.
- Composition: The Supreme Judicial Council consists of 5 members โ the Chief Justice of Pakistan, the two next most senior judges of the Supreme Court, and the two most senior Chief Justices of High Courts.
- Article 212: Provides for the establishment of Administrative Courts and Tribunals for service matters and other specified areas, with their jurisdiction to the exclusion of ordinary courts.
