Schedules & Amendments to the Constitution
- Second Schedule: Provides the election procedure for the President.
- Fourth Schedule: Contains the Legislative Lists (Federal Legislative List, Parts I and II), dividing law-making powers between the Federation and Provinces.
- Third Schedule: Contains the Oaths of Office, including the oath for the office of President.
- Fifth Schedule: Deals with the remuneration and terms and conditions of service of Judges of the Supreme Court and High Courts.
- First Amendment: The Constitution of 1973 was first amended on 4th May, 1974, through the Constitution (First Amendment) Act, 1974.
- Scope of First Amendment: The First Amendment made changes affecting approximately 16 Articles of the Constitution, along with related changes to the First Schedule.
