Good Faith, Harbor & Miscellaneous Terms
- Good Faith (s.52): Requires due care and attention. Honesty is not enough.
- Section: Portions of a chapter distinguished by prefixed numeral figures.
- Year/Month: Calculated according to the British calendar.
- Animal: Any living creature other than a human being.
- Death: Denotes the death of a human being.
- Voluntarily (s.39): Doing an act with intention OR knowing it is likely to cause that result (e.g., setting fire to a house where someone dies is causing death voluntarily).
- Harbor (s.52-A): Providing shelter, food, drink, or ammunition . Exception: A wife harboring her husband is not charged.
- Oath (s.51): Any declaration required by law before a public servant or for proof.
- Vessel (s.48): Anything built to carry people or property by water.
- Injury (s.44): Any illegal harm to a person's body, mind, reputation, or property .
- Offence (s.40): A thing punishable by this Code.
