• Injury (s.44): Illegal harm to a person's body, mind, reputation, or property .
• Qatl-bis-sabab (s.322): Death caused without intention through an unlawful act . Punishment is Diyat only.
• Hurt (s.332): Causing pain, infirmity, impairment, or dismemberment .
  • "Grievous hurt" is NOT a kind of hurt listed under the current PPC Section 332.
• Kinds of Hurt (s.337): There are five (5) kinds of hurt.
• Itlaf-i-udw (s.333): Legally defined as dismembering, amputating, or severing any limb or organ.
• Qisas Not Executable (s.334): Offender is liable to Arsh and imprisonment .
• Rash/Negligent Act (s.337-H(2)): Endangering life/safety is punishable with up to 3 months imprisonment.
• Hurt by Poison (s.337-J): Punishable with up to 10 years imprisonment.
